Black Beacon Artwork 3

Major boss fights in Black Beacon, like Tower of Babel, Darius, Wushi, Pi, and The Resting Bell, are tests of team synergy, mechanics mastery, and strategy. Here’s your meta guide for defeating them, with optimal lineups, counter strategies, and pro tips.

The Resting Bell (Chapter 1)

  • Weaknesses: Thunder & Light. Susceptible to Breaker/Destruction class.
  • Best Team: Viola (Thunder, Breaker), Shamash (Light, DPS), Zero (Light, Assist).
  • Tactics:
    • Dodge the golden landmines the boss deploys (stay mobile!).
    • Attack from behind when possible; frontal assaults trigger AoE counterattacks.
    • Use rapid DPS rotations to avoid swirl AoE.

Darius (End of Chapter 2)

  • Weaknesses: Fire, Light, Dark elements.
  • Best Team: Florence (Fire, DPS), Zero (Support), Ninsar (Shield/DPS).
  • Tactics:
    • Dodge his area rock-fist and blade attacks (signals are telegraphed).
    • Attack from behind after fist drops for safe damage windows.
    • Use shields to survive big slams; heal between AoEs.

Aten

  • Core Mechanics: Huge laser attack, ring-based AoE fields.
  • Best Team: Shamash (DPS), Ereshan (DPS), Hephae (Assist).
  • Tactics:
    • Stay out of the central ring during AoE charge-up.
    • Burst damage while boss is recharging laser.
    • Bring healers for the continuous area pressure.

Pi and Wushi (Joint Boss Battle, Late Game)

  • Start fighting: Pi first; focus fire until half HP to shift phases. Wushi is harder to hit if targeted first.
  • Weaknesses: Pi, Dodge stuns and heavy claws; Wushi, avoid Bright Blades on the field.
  • Best Team Includes: Asti (Heal), Hephae (Resist/Shield), Zero (Assist), DPS like Florence, Li Chi, or Qing.
  • Tactics:
    • When Pi’s head glows red or it stands upright, dodge immediately to avoid stuns and ground slams.
    • In phase 2, Wushi uses more Bright Blades, stay mobile and use ranged skills when the field is obscured by cerulean mist.
    • Attack Pi until defeated before focusing Wushi for a safer win.

Bifang

  • Weaknesses: Dark & Thunder.
  • Tactics: Stack DPS with these elements for burst damage; healers help mitigate Bifang’s area pressure.

Tower of Babel Mode (Boss Rush)

  • Unlock: Complete Main Story Chapter 3-18.
  • General Tips:
    • Level & Power: Always bring characters well above the stage power requirement.
    • Resource Management: Rotate supports to keep DPS healthy, healers and shielders (Asti, Ninsar, Zero) are critical between boss waves.
    • Elemental Advantage: Scout boss info before entry; tailor teams to exploit stated weaknesses.
    • Positioning: Attack bosses from behind and bait out heavy attacks before committing ultimates.
    • Upgrade Priority: Focus on DPS artifact/relic upgrades for best time and survivability.
