Banner Types Explained

  • Limited Banners:
Feature event-only or seasonal students (swimsuit, festival, etc.), usually strongest or rarest units; return every 6–12 months.
  • Standard Banner:
Permanent pool, with occasional rate-ups and spark system to guarantee chosen old units (Reddit Discussion).
  • Split/Combo Banners:
Bundled releases of 2–4 themed units, often with shared pity or boosted rates.

JP server follows same releases, but at least six months ahead.

Banner Tips & Planning

  • Anniversary & Fest Banners:
These arrive every six months (JP and global), offering best rates (6% vs standard 3%) and strongest limited units (YouTube Roadmap). Always save for these if F2P or low spender.
  • Accelerated Global Schedule:
Expect some banners to merge, shorten, or appear in unpredictable order compared to JP, use roadmap tools and community trackers for best predictions.
  • Reruns/Rate-Ups:
Units debut as limited, then eventually rerun and move to the Standard Banner, track your favorites and don’t overspend early.
